For anyone who failed to get update to 20161025 version rom via OTA update, can install it on BV6000 with
the following local update fie.

Half battery runtime
WiFi stays on "hidden" when turned off

i tried to install..phone does not make a restart...

I'm not able to use this file with flashtool.
When I load scatter.txt flashtool say me that is not a valid file.
Ther is a manual for flashing the ROM ?..
I need to flash the rom because my phone have a virus on ROM.. htmlviewer.
there are two way.. or have the root on my phone or flash it..

There are Hungarian-language text forditesi deficit. Such as gloves mod. and at par. when will knock any screen OFF function ?!

So I tried installing the update through OTA. It downloaded, unpacked, but then got stuck in the "Reboot..." message; it didn't reboot at all. Waited like 30 minutes. I tried it several times.

Next was the local update, which did the same as the OTA update: it doesn't reboot even after waiting like 20 to 30 minutes.

I tried flashing. "SP FLASH ERROR: 8417", the scatter file is apparently invalid or I'm plain stupid to install a driver.

My phone is still running on V01_20161011. I'm giving up this update entirely because I tried doing the same thing over for weeks. If it doesn't want to work, then it can't be helped.

I installed SP Flash Tool, i downloaded the all MTK USB driver 2014 and finely the Rom
s12v55_jk_3m-ota-1477383173.

i choose in Flash tool the All MTK "bin"-file and when i choose the scatter.text i get a error :
"SP flash Tool error:(8417)
The load scatter is invalid!
(HINT):
Please check the scatter file and select again.

Can you help me and the others who get a new BV6000 that not allowed a OTA update.

Did it work, when i copy that file on SD-card and install from SD-card?

I am disappointing, that my phone not work properly, but i know, you do the best to fix the problems....I am sure we all make this Phone for all attractive.

Looks like this ROM 20161025 is a prerequisite for Android 7.0, therefore I've downloaded the file "s12v55_jk_3m-ota-1477383173.zip" indicated in the first post, extracted the files on a local directory, launched "SP_Flash_Tool_exe_Windows_v5.1644.00.000" but I get the following error message when selecting the scatter.txt file from s12v55_jk_3m-ota-1477383173:

SP FLASH TOOL ERROR: (8417)
The load scatter file is invalid!
[HINT]:
Please check the scatter file and select again!
