Upgrade or replace

I've been waiting to configure and use my BV6000 Android 6 phone because I don't want to have to reinstall after upgrading to Android 7.
Can you confirm that the release of Android 7 will be an upgrade that will keep my settings and applications or will the installation of Android 7 be a replacement? In other words can I start using my phone without the chance of losing my configuration and apps?
Kind regards,

It just a new OS for better user experience.
if you still want to keep the android 6.0, you can choose not to to have a update on your device.
And the new os will not cause the losing of configuration and apps.

It seems I can't upgrade.
My BV6000 (version V01_20161011) reports through the Wireless-update that it's up to date. The only option is to download and locally update the phone to 20161125 but the update process reports that the process can wipe my data.
Did anyone try this?
The only way to get the Android 7 upgrade by OTA is if you have the latest version (20161125) installed, any thoughts?

Hey mate
Yesterday i downloaded the local update because of the android 7 update requirement you mentioned. Since it warned me that it can wipe all my data, i backed up everything, and guess what, it did not wipe my data. It upgraded with the local update in 5 minutes without any problem, and all my data, apps, photoes, everything remained on my phone. So you can update, it wont wipe your data. At least it did not wipe mine

The Android 7 Update is still not available, even if the 24. is over. Let's hope it will be published today. I am disappointed about the unreliability of the manufacturer.
I had no wiped data with local file update to 20161025.
Happy Holidays.

The upgrade does not work for me. The process starts and than stops with a "reboot" message.
After waiting several hours I've rebooted manualy. Nothing changed, the installation did not resume.
I'll wait till the official Android 7 ROM is released.
