Warning: Unzip Error

Sun May 21, 2017 1:53 am

I have just reflashed my phone and removed Android 7.0. I now have Android 6.0 (20160822)

When I go to 'Wireless Update' and I go to update my phone, the file downloads 20161011 but when I go to install it
I get the message "Warning: Unzip Error".

How do I get around this?

I have just tried to flash this update onto my phone but Flash Tool tells me that there is something wrong with the scatter file?

20161011 is not possible to flash, it's just an OTA update or local update file. 20160822 was the last flashable version before. Flash 20160822 and make the update OTA or by local file.

Would suggest to try performing the update to 20161011 using the Local Update method, have a look here how to do it:

Thank you, it worked very well. I've never updated this way before so I've learned something.

Hello guys. I have the same problem. The phone was downloading the broken 20161011 update (only 43 MB instead of ~830 MB). After that I get the unzip error. So then i downloaded the update file of 20161011 manually and installed it via Local update method. That worked. The problem i have is, the broken update from OTA is still in the phones update dialog und it notices me dozen times a day that theres an update! How can I get rid of the broken update? I have found no possibility to delete it in the Android menu, so i assume i have to locate it on the filesystem.

Please help.

Thank you,

regards
