This is common problem of non EU/US phones (read Chinese phones)

Best non bloated phone is the Google Phones period (and the safest among the Androids - if you don't buy a secure phone, but that a totally different thing and cost a lot)

You need to root the phone to remove all the unknowns - this is not easy on system files unfortunately.

Had some friends that ordered Chinese Phones - they are low price, quite good hardware (microphones/speakers and other parts (connectors etc) can be substandard to save money) but software Security wise they are a mess (push pop ups, apps that appear from thin air and all kinds of strange things)

Go to settings--> apps
Enable system apps (right corner)
Then scroll to "HTMLViewer"
Open it and set to "disable"

This app is infected. It was already installed when I bought the phone. I don't have the pop-ups anymore, and no self installing apps with names like "Phone", or "Call" or "XXX"
make sure you remove these kind of apps.

HTMLViewer can't be removed without rooting.

Hi
i have 20161025 and /system/app/AdupsFota/AdupsFota.apk is infected of pup.adware.yemobi.a
I would like to eliminate the threat
But my bv6000 does not receive fota updates and can not make local updates
viewtopic.php?f=144&t=118008&start=10#p301339
and with the W.S.A. procedure I could never update the phone again
or not?

I can not update through pc because I do not have windows 10
thanks

I DO CONFIRM THAT the software "DEBLOATER" works to FREEZE the Adups FOTA trojan
