The latest OTA update is 20161011 version. if you fail.
you can download the ROM of 20161011 venison and then do a local update.

I'm so sorry admin; I accidentally installed an old firmware which you provided in another thread (dunno why that happened)

Installed now new firmware and the apps who notifyied root warning stopped doing this - excellent!

Camera recording is also way better now; sound is louder and clearer

A firmware update is always interesting but can you give us a list of the biggest fixes in the firmware?

The USB and USB OTG issues are still there?

Updated few minutes ago, everything went OK. I never updated my phone before, I had factory ROM even older than V01_20160608.

I don't use pay apps, but it solved the problem of Viber unlocking my screen on missed calls.

No problems in Martinique (France DROM)

Di saya update baik-baik saja. Kamera ok.

The updated worked for me with local update. I don`t think the sound recording in the new rom works better now, i think it worked better before. I can`t test it exactly, because i don`t want to switch back. The rooting problem seems to be fixed. Tags and fingerprint now look fine. Sad to see that the developer options are gone though.

If you OTG function fails to work properly,
just send email to service@blackview.hk to ask for a
free OTG spare part replacement.

And make the theme of your email as " OTG problem solving"
And tell your shipping address and user name of this forum in the email.
