I have the same problem with tempered glass. Sometime display dont reacts.

Remove it ... BV6000 don't like tempered glass !

I have the same, but the upside is that the screen also does not overreact
Now I can scroll pages without clicking on links by accident all the time.

I asked this question a long time ago as I thought it was the tempered glass causing me capacitive button issues. I was wrong on that.
The problem is the capacitive buttons themselves! Blackview keeps swapping out parts and this has caused a few problems with their sensitivity because the generic operating systems don't work well with all phones.

The latest local update fixed it. (local updates are the ones which update when you go through your settings to do it. Not the flashable ones!). Keep in mind that these later updates remove 'Glove Mode'.

If a company like Samsung or Apple did that they would collapse!

I assume that for me, removing the tempered glass have solved my capacitive button problem, even it should be better with a little more sensibility ...
I'm waiting for an other tempered screen protection (more thin) and i'll report the result when i'll receive it.
In all cases, phone works correctly now, but after a long long difficult way (hardware and software) !!!

I have one quick question, as my BV6000 also suffers from the capacitive buttons problem: Is this problem really fixed (for ALL hardware versions of BV6000) in ROM 20170706 (Android 7), as stated above by tomithyom for his phone? Alternatively, does ROM 20170708 (Android 6, if I am not mistaken) fix this problem entirely?

It will be never a solution for all users, because Blackview team have changed many times hardware screens, screen drivers, glove mode on/off/removed, many buggy ROMs android 6/7, etc ... etc ...
Now they are locked without any possibility to fix all users screen and capacitive buttons problems and each one have to find himself his own less bad solution !
For me, i've tested (flash) all ROMs and i'm tired to be a "beta testor" for them ...
Now, i keep the last android 6 ROM (20161025) whitch is the best in my case, and i've rooted the phone to do what i want with it ...

I think - from what I have read - that there has never been a problem with the capacitive buttons in any version of Android 6 (right?). So it appears to be a solution "for everyone" to roll back to Android 6 and have the button functionality restored, but I also understand that many people do not want to do it for different reasons.

Yes it does, but 'Glove Mode' is taken away.

Just run the latest wireless update on your phone and the problem seems to be fixed. My phone came with Android 7.0 installed so I was experiencing this issue long before I heard it from anyone else. I was ready to get rid of the phone until this update came out.

Just run the update, if it doesn't fix the problem then no doubt Blackview has probably swapped more parts out. Crazy for a company introducing newer versions..
