I currently have the 20160608 ROM and would liike to upgrade it to the 20161011 ROM which looks like the more stable version available.
But I can't since it doesn't work through the local update either: the flash tools returns that the scatter file is invalid?!? with the 20161011 ROM file downloaded here viewtopic.php?f=144&t=71993

Can someone tell me how did you install this updates? I downloaded 20161025 flashable ROM,install flash tool and add file from Rom to flash tool(MT6755_Android_scatter.txt) . After that I press download and conect phone with usb but nothing happens?? Pc doesn't recognize my phone because it is turnde off. I installed drivers from zip file and still nothing.

My understanding is that you can flash from/to any valid firmware for your phone (but be aware that flashing will delete all data on your phone)
