Suggestions for future firmware updates.

Mon Aug 29, 2016 9:17 am

I'll just start it here but I think, that together we could make a list of desired features , which Admin could send further to Blackwiev developers to make our device even better

1) reduce the time needed to open camera with use of shutter button (1s of holdung the button and shorter startup time of application itself)

2) make other two hardware buttons programmable and let us choose if they work also while screen is off
a) Zelio is useless for most of us - it would be much better if I cold use a Flashlight switch instead
b) while SOS button is a good idea, I doubt that sending a SMS to one of my contacts is the best solution - I would rather use with 112 app (which will connect me with emergency services AND send my GPS coordinates to them)

3) let us choose how capacitive buttons are working (like in Xiaomi's MIUI) - I'd like for example to use MENU button to view recent apps. Yes, I know that I can do it by holding HOME button, but I would also like to remap that function to other one.

4) When display goes to sleep after e.g. 30sec of inactivity it doesn't lock the phone - after pressing of unlock button phone is ready to go ...without even need to swipe on the screen. Screen sleep have to lock phone right away!

5) make it possible to have separate ringtones for two simcards

Yes, please! That would be so awesome. Currently the keys are useless for me. Also the loud alarm for the emergency button is kind of annoying (although I understand why they implemented it there sould be an option to change it). Make the buttons launch every app I want to would be great!

If you root your phone and install xposed you can program the buttons and reduce the delay for the camera button (e.g. you can start the camera immediately upon a double click - this helps you not to accidently trigger the camera).

Yes, I know that. But it's like crawling into the house through the basement's window when they could just simply unlock the door ;)

Besides there can be problems with NFC on a rooted device.
