Problem with alarm clock in android 7.0

Mon Jul 10, 2017 2:45 pm

The last version (7.0) the alarm clock does not work with the unit charging in the original source.
The previous version (6.0) only had this problem when I loaded it through the USB of the computer.

Help me!

Do I understand right? The clock is not working in the moment you charge the phone?
Maybe try a factory reset.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that the alarm clock does not work when the phone is power OFF when connected to the charger.
In version 6.0 the same problem happened only when I was charging power off and connected to a USB port of a computer, in the original factory charger there were no problems, now I can not load the phone power off at night because I lose the alarm function in the version 7.0.

I will check that.

Edit: I tested that with firmware 20161011 and 20170517. The Phone turned ON for the alarm with both versions.
Please be sure to use the original charger and cable and if that don't help you may try a factory reset.

The cell phone should not have any obstacle to the functioning of the alarm clock with the mobile device turned off. With the 20161011 firmware the device had problems only when loaded in source other than the original, in case it was standard PC USB port with the cable I have, since the original has already broken. With the new firmware 20170517 the mobile device will not wake up, if it is stuck to the charger cable that I have, neither in the original source nor in the USB port of the PC. This type of problem should not exist, since nothing should interfere with the functioning of the alarm clock with the cellular device turned off, with any cable and charging source, original or not. Is this suggestion of a factory reset to re-download the version or reboot on the device only? Is there any way to check the version I'm getting as MD5?

hi, in Android 7 you can change different permissions to an app. If you don´t give the app clock the permission to read the phone status and other phone permissins, maybe the clock didn´t work. Maybe the stock setting is permission: disabled. Check it in settings, App (info) and search clock; check there the permissions that are given to the app. Pls reply if it´s the solution for your problem.

For factory reset or OTA update you don't need a MD5. If you like to flash I am sorry I can not give you a MD5 in the moment.
It is hard to figure out the problem because it don't exist on my devices. Maybe also try to buy an new original Cable over aliexpress.

After updating to the 20170708 firmware the problems have disappeared!
The phone plugged into the cable, not original, off, has the normal alarm clock, both in the original charger and USB port of PC (better than version 6.0).

Problem solved!

Thank you
