Cant register or connect to network

Wed Jun 07, 2017 7:10 pm

Hi there,

My BV6000 device wont register on or connect to the cellular network.
I have reset my phone to default settings as well as reinstalled the entire operating system to which i cant seem to fix this issue. I have looked online and cant seem to find this problem elsewhere.
I can browse the internet through my WiFi connection.
When manually searching for network operators, successfully finds all four available networks (Vodacom, Cell C, TelkomSA and MTN) however when trying to connect i get the error response, "Cant connect to this network at the moment, please try again later"
I have tried using sim slot 1 and sim slot 2 with both two different network carriers to which no luck.

Please can you provide any ideas or suggestions which may help fix this issue.

Kind Regards
Sam

- Had the phone worked correct before?
- Had you checked if the SIM is working in other phones (maybe defective)?
- Had you checked if your local frequencies are supported by the BV6000?

2G: GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
3G: WCDMA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100
4G: LTE 800 / 900 / 1800 / 2100 / 2600

Hi,

I got my Blackview RV6000 delivered on Friday and have not been able to get the sim to work on it.

The sim works because I am using it in my old phone right now.
The local network is Vodaphone at 850MHZ, 900MHZ and 2,100MHZ for 3G and 850MHZ and 1800 MHZ for G4, I am in Australia.

Please help.

Best regards

Roger

850MHZ for G4 is not supported byBV6000, the other frequencies are.
Can you see any Networks when searching under (settings>more>celular networks)?

No I cant, It clearly says no Sim Card despite it being there and working fine on my old phone. Its as if the Sim reader on the phone is not working.

Please check if you inserted the SIM in the right way. (Like here: http://blackview.smartwalkie.com/blog/bv6000-sim-card )

But there is only one way to put the SIM logically and which will fit. with the connector downwards.

Unless what you are telling me is that I need two sims for it to work? Also the sims on the video are smaller than the standard ones. Does the device accepts standard size sims?

You can use 1 SIM (in Place for SIM 1) and also 2 SIM.
Connector downwards to the phone is correct.
The device only accept Micro SIM Card.
