USB

Mon Nov 21, 2016 12:20 am

I'm trying to find a second USB lead. The bv6000 requires a specific USB plug. Standard USB leads don't always fit, or reach the socket.

Can anyone help with the specs I should be looking for?

I just bought a pair at Amazon, that work just fine with my BV6000.

Or you can cut 2 or 3 mm of plastic on any USB cable with a sharp knife.
I did it on many cable.

Slightly awkward, but not bad. A lot of cables are easily altered to fit. Things like watertightness and such mean there will usually be tradeoffs elsewhere.

@admin:

Isn't there at least a possibility to "extend" the usb port with an adapter?

Like this: http://image.dhgate.com/albu_375073278_00/1.0x0.jpg

But with the male side in 7mm length

Isn't this available somewhere?
