need an alternative charger.

since the phone(my one anyway) doesnt come with a uk charger plug, i thought i would charge it using my mains powered usb hub that featured "high power charging ports". but with this, the phone only seems to recover 2% charge per hour.
(since its gone from 3% to 7% in 2 hours)

while i recognise the battery in this phone is larger than average, that seems a bit wrong. making my think the hub isnt providing enough power to charge the battery properly.
so can anyone tell me what specifications i need to look for, so i can order a charger?

I've had similar problems, found the USB lead to be the fault. My replacement lead was unable to carry more than 600mA. Try the supplied lead, it seems to be able to carry more.
Good luck finding a spare though!

There are chargers supporting up tp 1.5V @ 12V. This is like the original charger for BV6000 but I'm not sure if those chargers that implement QuickCharge 2.0 technology are compatible with BV6000 since QuickCharge is Qualcomm technology while MTK developed own ExtraPump (or similar). THen I don't know if QC charger will respond to BV's request to pump more juice.

Does anybody know or tried? I'd like to avoid buying great but useless charger or burn something.

why don't you use the original charger with a plug adapter for UK?
