Hi, this is a warning for everyone that has problems with original Blackview charging cable.

My phone wouldn't charge, or charge very slowly. Data transfer miraculously worked. I thought that original charger is too weak, so i modified other micro usb chargers to work with my phone. I never used blackview original supplied charging cable. Then a few weeks ago i tried again and it fried motherboard of my BV6000. When looking for a problem I noticed that flat cable that connects OGT board with mainboard gets very hot. That is probably the reason the phone didn't charge, because it could transform energy to heat instead of frying itself. Well, the last time I was not so lucky and the phone died. Today I opened up the cable to see where is the problem. As you can see from the pictures supply + cable is in short with data pin. Two strands of wire are soldered to the pin, other strands were in contact with the second pin.

If you have any problems with original cable I recommend you to throw it away and use any other cable. Even if Blackview itself recommends only original cable.

Blackview was the worst smartphone I have ever had. A huge variety of software and hardware problems with no support by manufacture.

These pins should be crimped instead of soldered. BV is now saying to contact seller, seller will probably respond that warranty is 3 months. After phone died I received rear cover for speaker warranty. I have some hope in them. I just hope they won't spin me in circle.

Update to my problem. I contacted seller of my phone. It was almost one year after I bought it. The seller (Tomtop) refunded me 50 USD. I bought replacement motherboard from aliexpress and my phone works now. Price of the used motherboard was also around 50 USD.

Somehow, charger is the problem, I had the same problem, original charger was charging any other phone except mine... Original usb cable, charged my phone when I connect it on usb port on my laptop, or on any other charger, but it charged only few % on hour... I bought new charger, LDNIO 2,4 ah, with 2 usb ports for IOS and Android... micro usb connector perfectly fits in micro port on my phone and it charged it faster than original charger... Also, there is no heating of my phone during charge, what wasnt the case with original charger... (sorry on my English, but I hope you understand me)...
