I hope this gets posted since none of my past post have been. Since this phone is IP68 specified to what depth and how long is the phone tested to be water proof. The packaging only says not for extended under water use but fails to explain what that means.

Hello, I dared to test the waterproofing
of the BV6000 in a swimming pool.
Above all, do not do as I do, you will
lose your phone, it is not at all waterproof.
I had, however, put a scotch on the loudspeaker
grid for security, but the water comes in through
the door or there are SIM cards behind the phone.
I will not take Blackview anymore for waterproofing.
It's a shame because I liked the look of the BV8000 Pro.

If I go to the pool with bv6000 and the phone will go bad, it will be subject to warranty repair?

The problem is that even the manufacturer get this wrong all the time. IP68 does not mean "Can be used in swimming pool" in real life - it means that under exactly controlled conditions, the device can stand submersion in water. True, the "8" should mean that the device is hermetically sealed, or that the ingress of water does not cause harm to the device. However, this depends on many things, and should not be taken literally. Especially because you cannot provide controlled conditions - for example, the temperature of the water and of the device are to be identical, and the device must not be moved or pressed against something.
So, in real life, an IP68 phone is totally safe to be used in the rain, or when it falls into water - if the rubber flaps are exactly in place, an the rubber gasket in the SIM card bay is not wrinkled/overstretched by to strong tightening of the screws, that is.

What are these nonsense comments?

The BV600 is perfectly watertight. Just keep the flaps closed (and clean), duh.
The speakers have no problem with the water. I used it many hours for snorkeling, and washed the phone under water many times, and it is fine.

The problem is a different one:
The touch screen does not work under water!

Or rather, water counts as touching, and so even if you take it out of the water, it will still not work, because it thinks it is touched everywhere!

And this is made more problematic by the controller only being able to detect only two fingers! I have piano-like apps, and in none of them can I play 3-key chords. It always only detects two fingers.
