I recently bought a BV6000 for the first month using it was awesome but unfortunately the camera suddenly stopped working ...

I was using the rear camera when its stopped working and closed the camera app ... I tried to restart the app when I found that the rear camera is not working and the front camera was rotated 180 degrees and I noticed that the "swipe camera" button was disappeared ....

I tried the following steps:
1.I tried to restart the phone but it does not work
2.I tried to install a camera applications such as camscanner, camera 360, Whatsapp camera but it does not work
3.I tried to clear the data and cache for camera from settings but it does not work
4.I tried to search for firmware update but it was up to date
5.I tried to "wipe data" by pressing the volume up button while pressing the power button and choosing the wipe data option ... but it does not work

The Build number is BV6000_Blackview_V01_20160822

Attached a screenshot from camera clarifies the above mentioned issue .... Please help me to solve this issue

You can try a factory reset.

Happen to my bv6000 too..

in my case, it happen after i install several OTA..
i already try nougat, flash 20161025, and flash 20160822, this camera problem still exist.

Ill try 20160713_s12v55_jk_3m and older when i got home today, i hope this problem is gone.

Based on my experience, this occur when the phone production use different oem part for their product. When the app developer release the upadate, the phone that using different part than the app developer use is getting this problem..

this problem is happen to on TCL/Alcatel flash plus production, their 1st batch can go to marshmallow but when the 2nd batch using marshmallow back camera is pink and front camera is fliped..

Blackview admin is too shy to admit their real problem..

Did a factory reset work as I am getting the exact same issue.

I've got the same issue just like this one, and absolutely I need some help to solve this trouble

I solve this problem in this way:

1. open the phone (open all screws)
2. remove the backcover
3. in my case, the rearcam was out of the connector => put the wire in the camconector
4. close the backcover and screw in alls screws

in my case all cams are working correctly

I have the same exact problem today, 17 of March 2018 . t started a few days ago with the rear camera not working and the software to be non responsive, today early in the mornig the chenge camera feature (change button) disapeared and the camera automatically chenged to the front wghich is now rotated 180 degrees.... Someone to give me a solution please! It seems to be a software issue at first glance
