Hi community,
i have a new handset and have big problems because the network is not working.
it shows the 4g symbol but no data comes
when i switch to 3g it works partially. i have to connect even to 2g and then back to 3g to get it working again
i noticed that it doesnt show the name of the network which is strange because i still get data on 3g
i need this telephone and the web connection so i can not just send it back
please help!!
thank you

First you need to check if the phone supports the 4g network brands of your network supplier.
If it supports, then you may need to contact your network provider if they can help you.

i use eplus and o2 networks, common networks in germany
i am not the only one with this problem
YOU SHOULD FIND OUT IF THE NETWORKS ARE SUPPORTED BEFORE YOU SOLD ME THAT HANDSET!!!
after a firmware update at least 3g works constantly
i am getting pissed. i have other work to do!!

I had the same issue with firmware 20161025 after changing from WiFi only to 4G. If you turn on and off flight mode after leaving Wifi it's working.
For me it's now working again with FW 20161011 but I had read about others who told they have the same problem also with this FW and also by changing from WiFi to 3G.

I had no mobile transmission after leaving home WiFi range every morning until I enabled i programming options to not disconnect mobile data connection when in WiFi range.

For me also the switching didnt work.
I was using "Roaming Control" for the MVNO problem. I thought the switching was the culprit because Roaming Control seemed to work and the Roaming Icon "R" disappeared.
But i had to additionally enable "Enable Roaming".
So Blackview definitely changed sth in the Radio/Modem.The file in /etc/firmware apparently is a newer build.
What did you change guys ?
SetRoaming() is hooked and set to false but i still have to activate "Enable Roaming" ?
