What charging standard does BV6000 support?

I'd like to buy some car charger or additional wall charger but don't know which will be compatible. Does BV6000 utilize Quick Charge 3.0? Print on the original charger suggest it might be compatible, but I'm not sure. When I connect the phone to PC USB socket, some applications still cause slow draining battery.

I tried several car charger to find one that fill the BV6000 power needs.
For example the Aukey Quick Charge 3.0 charger don't work, it connect and disconnect rapidly in loop...
The Anker PowerDrive 2 Lite works perfectly, even with very consuming application like maps (3D+DATA+GPS).

Today I have tried to charge with high amperage 5V charger and the phone seems to handle it well. 5V/3A (Intel Stick PSU) has similar performance to original 10V fast charge. Just mind that you need quality (original) cable for 3A and also quality charger that will not explode at maximum draw (as the phone will draw everything that's possible out of it).

How do you test if Quick Charge work? The only way I know is watching the remaining time for a complete charge. With original charger its around 1:20hours. With old standard chargers is 4:00 hours and with this ORICO QSE-5U QC-2.0 charger its almost 2:00 hours. It also depends from the usb-cable. All this tests were made with the original cable, others cable need 4:00 hours with every charger.

I first tried an older "USB-Doctor" tester with max. 3,5-7V but it always shows me 5v and 1 to 1,5A.
What are correct measurements with your USB-Meter?

Here is a measure with the original charger and cable.
You need to add the phone consumption (around 300mA) and the charging circuit loss (maybe 90% efficiency but I'm guessing...).
So something like (2.310+.300)*3.82/.9 = 11.078 W
It seems pretty close to the tester measure.

Note that I never saw more than 1A if the charger runs at 12v

Every other charger I tested always deliver around 5V and the phone drain a maximum of 2A if the charger/cable support it.

Thanks for your detailed answer. I just wonder about that 12V. On my original charger is printed a max. voltage of 9V.

Same on mine but from experience there is 4 steps voltage 5v, 7v, 9v and 12v

MediaTek based phones use Pump Express + instead of Quick Charge (Qualcomm systems).
PE+ chargers are harder to find, but they are out there. You have to use good quality cables to make this work.
