Speaker problem after airplane travel

I just want to report a problem that I came across, while using my BV6000.
Two weeks ago I made two airplane flights of 2 hours long each.

When I landed, I tried to make a call and the BV6000 speaker wasn’t working.
After a few tries, the sound started to increase gradually, almost like the phone was becoming pressurized by sea lever pressure.

I have been seeing some complaints about the BV6000 speaker on the forum, so it could be related to this, because it is an IP-68 phone, and the way it is designed (sealed), the speaker could become impaired or even damaged by the pressures submitted during airplane flights.

Last week I had another airplane trip and it hapened again. Takes around 30 min after flight for the speaker to work again.

Please take thins into consideration on your next phone builds.

Thanks
Fred

Did you try to open the rubber flaps covering the earphone or USB connectors?

If the pressure difference is the problem, opening headphone or USB seal would equalize the pressure and solve the problem.

Next time I will try to travel with both ports open (during flight) to see if it solves the problem.

Cheers

I had a similar issue. When I arrived in the USA I tried using my phone and the speaker was non-functional. I resetted the phone several times before it started working again.

Hi,

As promised, I'm here to report that I have travelled by plane again several times with my BV6000 with the jack port open during flight and it solves the speaker pressure issue after flight.

Cheers
