Hallo,

my gyroscope is giving wrong values:
A roll is recorded as a pitch and vice versa.

That means:
If the phone is lying on its back and I tilt it to the right it thinks it was tilted to the front (with the "head" up, like standing up the phone).
There's also a slow random rotation registered that isn't really there. That means the sensors think the phone is being rotated the whole time. There are also a lot of random movements detected when the phone is being moved. But they doesn't reflect the actual movements.
I already calibrated the sonsor and it didn't help.

With the accelerometer everything works as expected. It's only the gyro that's wrong.

not sure if we have the same problem with the sensors, but this is the result of mine in a video:

The gyro and compass sensor are not working properly. North should be all time on the upper edge. I swapped the phone forwards, backwards and sideward. The yellow dot dosen't move straight into the direction. I tired to calibrate a few times the gyro and compass sensor.

My phone is on version 20160704.

I'm also not sure if it's the same problem.

In the first video I recorded the values as a diagram, this is it:

As you can see when I moved the head up (pitch) the sensors recorded a roll (yellow line). And when I rolled it it recorded a pitch (green line). Yaw seems to be correct btw so I didn't show it. Also the accelerometer works correct. If an app is using both at the same time - accelerometer and gyro values - those don't match and you end up with apparently random values.

Sorry for the bad quality. I hope you can recognize what's going on there.

Even if it is a hardware failure I guess the problem could be fixed by software. The values just have to be switched. But I couldn't find an option like this.

I have the same issues with the gyro. How can this be solved?

The Gyro is working. Now features like panorama pictures and VR-apps are working correctly. The compass still isn't working correctly.
@blackview: Please fix the compass. Even calibrateed it points in several random directions.
