Problem with touch screen after disabling glove mode

Hi.
Yesterday I received a new phone. I turned it on, checked some things, and went to set it up. It lasted literally 5 minutes. On the menu I came across Glove mode and like most other features I wanted to see how it works. Unfortunately, after disabling this option, the screen stopped working. The part is as if halfway up (the home button can be found in the middle of the screen) and the rest of it is hard to sense at all. Anyway - the phone without the mouse is useless at this moment. I tried to restore factory settings, I installed the latest update - nothing helped.
What's wrong with it? If it fell on the floor or something, then at least I would know it was the cause, but it happened completely without my participation. Has anyone met such a problem? Is this a hardware or software problem?

Can you enable glove mode again with a comoter mouse over OTG Cable?
Also try out the latest Firmware versions. (Maybe OTA update don't work, then you can try local file update or flashing over pc.)

Use the mouse and call *#87#, then select single test and touch panel. Use your finger to check active screen's areas. If you can turn some cells green, share a photo. I switched glove mode on and off several times when it was available and nothing bad have happened. If no solution comes soon, I suggest you require replacement without hesitation.

I tried to turn glove mode on and off a dozen times. The failure was on version A. I connected the mouse, I made restore factory settings from the system, same with recovery, I turned on the phone and upgraded to 20170517, restore factory settings again and still the same.
Here I have a video that I sent to the seller, partly see what is going on.

@Tomator
I did it yesterday when I waited for post approval. The squares turned on completely not where they should, the touch on the bottom left side of the screen was detected in the upper left side (which would confirm the "scroll" of the screen half way up. I dont know how to name it better). Another movie I will try to record over the weekend when I get home.

I will try some older updates, maybe they will give me something.

Hi,

This might be good news: the touch device works (somehow). Maybe there is some option of screen calibration (admin knows). This could be enough bo bring it back to life.

Just want to add something that its very hard to enter anything on the phone even security code. I try like 2 hours to turn developer option and from there cursor position. Call a phone technician and he said its a driver problem or calibration problem.I hope admin can help us, because even we buy new touch problem it maybe the same problem again after replacement.

Thank you all for your help. Now, phone runs on android 6 and the software from october.
I recorded another movie. It seems to me that the screen replacement will unfortunately be necessary. I hope my assumptions are wrong and somehow I can get rid of it without spending more money and waiting months for parts.
I'm sorry for the quality of the recording, but my current phone does not offer anything more ;)
