Very happy with this phone generally. Bought new in March and performs really well.
At random times when I look at the phone it will have turned itself off completely. I can turn it on again, no problem and it can stay on for a day or a week but will turn itself off again.
Battery charge can be anything, it did it today at 82% for example.

Have the same problem even tho mine can reboot on its own a minute or less before it fully boots. It also does it at any tkme with any charge. Running apps pr not. However i am running android 7. Alsp i noticed that before when i updated the apps i would have to restart the phome to get new updared for the apps. Now apparently i ahve to do that before i can upgrade after a new release. As of today the play store keeps doing the same update for twitter and facrbpok everytime i restart the phone.

You have a pretty old firmware, the answer you'll get from Blackview will be first to update to the latest firmware
viewtopic.php?f=144&t=101183&start=40#p307071 and then check whether the problem has been solved or not

Parcheval is right, please update to the lastest Version (
viewtopic.php?f=144&t=101183#p284253) to solve this problem. You can upate Over the Air, by Local file or by flashing over PC (
viewtopic.php?f=144&t=147109).

I don't think it is a software issue. This only happens if I take the phone out and have it in my pocket. I reckon that something is pressing the power button while I am walking about or working.
I am going to 3d print a thinner power button so the part you press is recessed as it should have been in the original design.

The hardware-Button should not be able to turn of the phone if a unlock patter is set. But please be sure to activate "settings > prevent pocket deal" if you have problems with the phone in a pocket.

Please try... Regardless if pocked dial prevention is engaged or not,
long press on the POWER button turns the phone off, or restarts it even if the pattern is set and the phone is locked.
This was a problem in my previous car clip when I was using BV to navigate. Now I have one that holds the phone in its lower part pressing SOS sometimes - but this sounds loudly so I know...
This is not very fortunate design: all edges are occupied with buttons or sockets. This causes problems sometimes. Not much may be done to BV6000 but this should be taken into account when designing future phones (special cables are also a pain).

The more I think about this the more I am convinced it is a button thing. I am also finding the volume at minimum on occasion. When the phone is on stand by in ones pocket this means a press on power then a long press on volume down.
Shorter buttons all round I think along with removal of the PPT button and SOS button, hot glue being a valid replacement.

If that was a problem for me, I'd use i.e. sandpaper to level these button with the frame.
I think the power button should disable/reset the phone on ling press in case of hang - and this might be controlled on the lower level. One cannot disconnect battery easily to reset the phone when necessary. But not necessarily should it protrude allowing accidental turning the phone off.

You are right. I will report this.
