Touch screen problem: bad manufactoring or software related?

Mon May 29, 2017 5:18 am

The title says it all. Bought my BV 6000 after having a great experience with the previous BV 5000. After unboxing and starting it up for the first time, i noticed some issue with the touch screen... sometimes it doesnt register any touchs at all. For typing I have to press hard on the screen so I could get an input, and in general is extremely unusuable because you can hardly interact with the phone because of this. I havent tried the latest update, because first I want to know if this is software related or hardware related, I have to be sure that if this is a HW issue I can demand a new phone from the seller, because it's defective. But if this is being experienced by more users of this phone this maybe SW related, in wich case, is there a solution? Some of the stuff i've tried and haven't given any results at all: Hard reset, with and without the simcard, replacing the microSD card and removing it completely, trying different simcards from differents companies. So far with no results at all. I need to be sure that this is a defective phone or someone else is experiencing this... it's extremely frustrating, it's hard to put any text on the screen and almost imposible with the space bar.

could be both: hard or software issue. I suggest to update and then factory reset. if that don't work you could ask your seller for exchange.
