mayfirmware update:

what i found out:
three of the four hiphspeed cores are full running permantley. cpu ist totallay at40% all the time caused by the system. i closed all background apps but stll system is at 40% cpu. my phone is encrypted by android. i guess this firmwaresystem is causing this high cpu consumption

I did a hardreset now. even with just one app installed to the how much the cpu is in use: still 40-50% cpu use in idle process
I have not connected with google account
So bad job of blackview to release such a may firmware. The kernel itself uses the cpu.
thats the reason why the battery usage is so high and the phone is getting hot
I am looking for new phone. good luck all blackview users

Lets hope the admin will notice this so that it get fixed in next release

i allready bought a new phone. i will give away my blackview soon. I dont have any trust in blackview to solve all the problems. the ecompass for eg will never work.

If CPU usage had increased, I understand we should have less battery autonomy between charges, no? But in my case since 20170517 I have more stand-by time than I ever had...

I also have issues after the latest update. So far as to do a factory reset, but the lagging remained, especially with gestures and long press*. So now I am pretty sure it was the update.

I am thinning of putting a custom ROM if there is no fix in the foreseeable future.

Anyway, I just wanted to share with you that experience, I am generally very satisfied with the device and that update turned out to be a big bummer. I hope for a fix, soon!


*Two times, it even had a semi restart after I pressed backspace for some time to erase a long text!

In the dial interface, please type the *#*#114#*#* while enter into another interface, please send us the screenshot.
We will figure out the problem and find the solution.
