Hi
Today my BV6000 (the one having swollen battery and screen framed by crystal-like fog) fell from a little height (about 40cm) and the screen stopped sensing touch in the lower part of the screen or event "touches itself". I cannot even unlock the phone. How to repair it?

Please go to the online shop to check if it is within the warranty time?
Or you can find the local repair shop to mend this?

AE Smartphone Center says they may help only within 3 months. It's not fair to require buy additional warranty while BV gives one year warranty. Usually, when I had problem with equipment under warranty, I was taking it to authorized service for free repair. This is the right way. Only if I hadn't such service in proximity I used the shop I purchased the equipment to make reclamation. Hiding behind the shop that won't help in not honorable way to avoid fulfilling the warranty.

You can try connecting a mouse to USB slot and see if this helps unlocking the phone and then maybe resettting factory state.

The sccreen 'touches itself', so I doubt the mouse would be functional. The front panel is to be replaced anyway together with the battery.

The OTG works and the mouse was able to enter diagnostic mode *#87#. Here is what the phone was feeling while I was using my finger:

Not very good, is it? Resetting the phone to factory defaults didn't help of course. It's apparently hardware problem.

Please send the damaged screen picture and your consignee address to
service@blackview.hk to get screen replacement, without the picture you will not get the replacement. Please kindly note.

Hi,
How long it usually takes the service to respond to an e-mail? After first try the answer came after one minute:
This was automatic failure report so I sent a message again ("Screen replacement required due to touch sensor failure", Apr 27, 08:46 CEST). Until now there is no response. I don't know if they will send me the part or if they even received the e-mail. But maybe it's normal and I'm just too impatient for Chinese standards.

Hi
There is still no response from
service@blackview.hk - is this a Chinese custom to ignore and avoid the customers?

You're making mess in almost every single thread. Why don't you write a PM to admin?
