Gps issue with Android 7.0

Tue Mar 14, 2017 5:59 pm

I noticed that sometimes the GPS is not working properly. The difference to the real location is about a 100 meters. Neither turning gps off and on again nor restarting the phone helps.

With Apps like AndroiTS GPS Test, I can see that I receive about 8 to 12 satellites and the accuracy is 3 to 5 meters but any App shows just the wrong coordinates. For example i see 10 satellites and an accuracy of 4 meters and yet Google maps shows that I am over 100 meters away from my actual location.

This bug does not occur all the time, but when it does, the GPS is not usable for hours.

I hope you can fix this in the next update.

Does anyone else experience the same thing?

Can you please tell your location for reference, like your country?

Are you at outdoor at this time? What if you switch to GPS only option? Maybe BTSes and WiFis take priority (which is wrong anyway but might be clue for developers)
