Back of my BV6000 gets raised. I'am afraid the battery has swollen. Won't it catch fire or explode? So far the bump have grown to about 1mm and the phone is prone to swing when operated on a flat surface. It's sad because I have the phone since Nov, 2016. Should a battery decompose so quickly? I don't see any significant loss of capacity but I wander if it's still safe to use.

There was one other user in the german androidhilfe board who reportet an swollen battery. He opened the case and changed the battery.
I hope this is no bigger issue with more devices. And I hope for you that you get a new battery from blackview.

May I count on the battery replace? It's maybe not necessary at the moment... yet... if it's still safe to use, with no risk of blow or fire. So, that's the second question: when can I know the battery is to be replaced before something wrong may happen?

It's not easy to show it directly especially with the phone itself . As I wrote, the back is raised about 1mm only. However, I can show this bump indirectly, placing the phone on a desk, putting one finger on the edge by the SOS button, another on the opposite edge and push them alternately while recording a movie with the front camera. When the phone was new it used to lay stable on the table.

The location is Poland, Central Europe.

Yes it means a swollen battery... And no, there Will be no warranty.

After a lot of emailing in november 2016 with the services department of blackview, taking many pictures and even disassembling the phone to prove the dangers of this battery... Services did stop the communication without any action taken.

I die gave An order to An engineer to check the battery if it was dangerous, the result was bad. I bought a newer version of the battery on AliExpress and let it check for safety and it come out "acceptable", still not good, but already better.

From this day on i charge the battery in a Safe environment in a room with Fire alarm

I,m not sure if this phnomenon is related to battery but surely it's not water deposit on the inner surface of the glass (these are pictures of high resolution - please zoom to see more details):





Screen displays image normally, touch surface works fine. This 'thing' is translucent. Does not occlude the image but is visible in external light. The photo has been made in sunlight when it's the most apparent.

It started with just few strokes in the upper left corner (holding the phone vertically) but it grows every day. What can it be? Judging by the rainbow shine these are tiny crystals of size of 1 nm and less - but where they come from?
