Predictive text while browsing + in apps

Hi there,
Whilst searching using search engines like google predictive text doesn't work.Predictive text work's whilst writing text messages but not in browsers. Predictive text is switched on and I am at the latest firware. Any ideas?(After a quck google search Samsung seem to also have the same issue following Marshmellow 6.0.)
