The new firmware is lagging. Really lagging. The april firmware was fluent. There were only 4 days (including the weekend) between release and build date. thats ridiculous short time for testing. to me it looks like blackview does not know anything about testing releasing and quality control.

@ parcheval

i know already that your phone is working fine.

I expect an answer from blackview about their update policy.
My questions: Will there be a future firmware update that is solving the lagging?
Will the compass be repaired by an future update? (the screws are not the problem, they arenot magnetic)
Will the touch problem be repaired with an future update?

I dont see any improvement in this may update. going back to april firmware does not work

The buttons at the bottom of the screen do not work well. They need to be pressed two or three times. With the firmware update nothing has changed. Settings and different firmware versions do not help. The touchscreen is working fine. :(

"Are you kidding me?!
It's so unresponsive and lagging, it's nearly unusable!"

No, I'm not joking. Personally, whatever the update, I make a backup of my data and applications and then I systematically do a factory reset. This helps to solve some bugs. I may have been lucky when buying the BV6000, but until now no major problems with the software.

"Gerard mentioned that after Factory Reset it helped him, I personally didn't have to do so since it worked straight away, but can understand no one likes Factory Reset in order not to loose everything, so can only suggest to perform several times the Local Update with the same firmware and/or switch off/on the phone several times to see if it helps..."

"Parceval" is right, we lose everything. But after the update, just restore the backups and redo all its settings. So I can not advise anyone. Nevertheless, the "factory reset" is a habit to be taken and which solves many problems. At first it's tedious, after that becomes a routine.
Good luck to all those who have problems with their BV6000.

Hello, after the update 20170517, big bug on the first
screen or you have to drag several times for this to be taken into account.
Seeing the discussions, I did a factory reset, for my
BV6000, a horror, I advise against doing a factory backup !!

BV6000 is a rugged phone (using outdoor with gloves very often) and i hope glove mode return back soon in settings with more touch sensibility ...
The "graal" should be sensibility level set by users ! ;)

After a couple of days I now see that the screen sensitivity is fine but it's those damn capacitive buttons (home / back / menu) which are the problem. The go to sleep too early.

Their sensitivity is fine, it's the fact that they go to sleep too soon and are hard to wake up!
I think that's the key point.. They just don't wake up easily. My pointer speed is turned right up but still these buttons
are driving me mad. I have to tap the back button 6 or 7 times to get things moving.
