yes, OTG should work without problems on devices sold today (no one can guaranty that your seller don't kept it almost one year before selling but that is no high probability)

@phil: thanks a lot. I just ordered mine from Gearbest less than a week ago; this is a big seller, so I doubt that they will send me a device that was sitting in a storage room for a year or so
Once I have received the device, I will check and report the result here, too.

But i´m still waiting to receive the part.
I got several times that it would be send but stil haven´t got it.
