Re: Touch screen not functional anymore

Did you ever try? I did. All messages land in outbox (or so) and are never delivered. I know I may by annoying... Sorry about that. I just hate being deceived. If BV says there is one year warranty I expect it works. If they said honestly "your phone, your problem" I'd know they don't care, I'd go away and never look at BV again. Instead there is still some (fake I think but still) hope and... another disappointment.

The worst is I was really happy of my BV6000 while it worked. I liked BV7000Pro and regretted I don't need 2 phones. Well, actually I do - to have ONE while waiting for parts to BV... I wanted to buy P2 for my lady who needs larger battery and well tuned antenna (this works quite fine in BV6000 so I hope another models are as good too). So I look for any reason to trust BV again.

I didn't buy BV just because it was cheap. It wasn't. I have cheap phone now (and miss BV...). I bought it because of 8 cores, large battery, IP68, large memory, lack of unnecessary apps installed and system customisations and, yes, because I could afford it. It was so fine I have forgiven it poor magnetic sensor and miscalibrated gyroscope (finally the option to recalibrate appeared in service menu) "because it's chinese, not very expensive and not really necessary". Unfortunately, essential components failed, BV admitted quality problem and... that's all.

Well, I wish you all long life for your phones (of whatever brand) and support that supports you instead of just hope.

@Tomator I complete understand your frustration of getting no answer from BV by mail or PM.

It's really not nice that BV seems to not or late answering emails but first contact for guaranty should be your seller. On the other side I think it was clear that your swollen battery will damage other parts one day and I don't understood why you kept using it. You could get a new battery very cheap over aliexpress but I fear it's maybe to late now.

I think you're right. I started with the seller. The seller doesn't care, pointing out they could hel only for first three months (BV had to talk "seriously" with the seller: I doubt it could take any effect). Then I tried to fix the problem with BV. BV's attitude made things even worse. Instead of just buying the new battery on my own I hoped BV will help, as they said there is a year long warranty. BV has representatives in Czech for example so the battery would come in days. Or if they told at once hey don't care, I'd order one immediately. But even getting information the battery is not safe took quite long time. Suppose I'd still wait for the battery though, as parcels travel from China for month or two usually (and, yes, I'm waiting for one at the moment). I've ordered the new front panel but I'm not sue if the battery had something to do to the touch sensor. The chip is soldered on ta kapton tape instead of the PCB. Maybe placing the rigid chip on the flexible substrate caused loss of contact? I don't know - when parts will come I'll open the case and try to check the chip under microscope. For now I have 4Ah semi-functional power bank (it powers my spare phone but does not charge GSM modem).

Did you find a way to contact BV Poland directly? If that was possible i think it should be the fastest way to communicate with them. Here on the forum it's just some people posting their problems, bugs, workarounds, and sometimes we get some sort of information/ updates from BV.

@Tomator the swollen battery could even explode and burn. I would suggest to remove it as fast as possible and using your other phone until waiting for a new battery.

Yes and no. BV's web service contains "Global Agents" section where Poland is mentioned, but the name is of one company, address of the second, contact's email in domain of third (and this is the only one doing anything with CE: goclever). Despite Goclever sells BV6000S with own brand, admin discouraged contact although the battery and front pane could be the same as in BV6000 and would match (although is seems they sell only black). But Goclever is just a seller and might not wish to support foreign customers. So the contact was of no use.

I think that if BV wanted, they could provide efficient support to ensure customer returns but there are over 6 billion people in the world - so even if each bought only once from BV it would suffice to run business for centuries. So far, it works

@Phill, the battery didn't swell very much. I hope it will keep integrity until new one arrives. (Yeah, hope again... - but I didn't heard of any that exploded or caught fire so far). I use it rarely - only as a power support for my new Asus Zen for longer walks. Twice a week, let's say.
