Same here

After restart, under device manager. Mine showed in other devices not portable device. It came up as an unknown device. I chose update driver then seach my machine for driver and the device I chose was MTP with USB and that worked. Now shows up as android phone in DM and appears in this pc. Hope that helps everyone
