i'm here in Germany and can't use the bv6000 gps with an an navigation app. Every 2-5 minutes it lost gps connection.
With my Samsung Ace II i had no problems.

Testing with Android App "GPS Test"
The bv6000 has 10 satellit with an signal strength of 16-23
The Samsung ACE II has 11 sattelit with an signal strength of 25-38

are there any settings i can change on the bv6000 to improve?

the phone is currently on BV6000_Blackview_V01_20160822, but gps is not usable

is there a newer firmware with better gps support?

Hi,

This is already the latest version.
The reason causing the GPS lost is various.
Maybe a weak signal. you can try it in some open areas to see if it still fails to work properly.

I'm using the same ROM release and even when in my house I get an accuracy of 5 m and a time to log into position of unter 1 minute.
Try the App "GPS Test", it shows you exactly which satelites the phone sees and connects to.
This might help finding your issue.

I also have a weak gps signal after the last update i think. In my car it dont work anymore.
How can i fix this?
