Android Device Encryption missing?

Thu Aug 25, 2016 5:21 am

Device encryption is a standard feature of the Android operating system. For an outdoor phone that you take on our travels abroad, this feature is quite important because you do not want other people to access your personal data (e.g. passwords to email accounts) if your phone gets lost.

Can you please confirm that device encryption has been properly implemented into the BV6000 ROM or, if not, fix this issue? Not only on my phone but also on another BV6000 device encryption failed (i.e. the phone tried to encrypt itself but then stopped and did nothing) so it seems that there is a problem.

Thank you.

The problem is solved because the new ROM of August 12 manages to properly encrypt the phone. Thank you!
