I have a problem, with the new rom (2017.09.18 or on the otherr name is 20170908_s12v55_jk_3m_gms) update as well.The home button is pretty mutch owned by google so i can't select beetween running apps.How can i completly disable google news and re-enable the old feature?Witch i liked.I'am talking holding down the home bottun on the bv 6000 and the phone vibrates twice then the running apps lists will apear.Arte ther eany way or if you guys can please do a wireless update on this.

An i have other problems as well.Like the smart sistant it is on completly differnt languge that i did not choose.I use hungarian but there is chez languge letters in thast options area.Why is that happened?I tried to flash the rom did not helped at all.Witch i mentioned above.

You can disable the google search app at "settings>apps".

But switching apps is now done via what used to be the menu button. Which is much better, and how it should have been done for a long time!

Yes, holding the home button should not run anything by the Google kraken.

Frankly, all three buttons should be fully configurable. Pressing and holding. So you could e.g. press the menu button to instantly switch to the last used task, and hold it, to get the list of tasks. And press the home button to go home, or hold it, to do a web search or whatever. And press the back button to go back, but hold it to force-close the hanging app.

CyanogenMod used to have that when I used it on my old phone.
I think Blackview should just support CyanogenMod (or whatever it is called nowadays), and save a lot of work and money!

I agree, holding the back button to force close the foreground app is just perfect. I have it on my Xiaomi phone, and use it all the time - not only to close hanging apps, but generally to close apps that I don't want to be running in the background. Of course, this SHOULD not be necessary, but unfortunately there are still a lot of apps out there the use quite some energy when running in the background. So, it is better to close them completely AND switch off the autostart permission.
