Problems since migration from Android 6 to 7

Thu Aug 10, 2017 12:40 pm

Hello,

Since I migrated from Android version 6 to version 7 I have the following issues with my BV6000:

1) When I am connected in bluetooth with the audio system of a car (I tested on many cars), although the device is recognized and connected, I cannot hear the caller and the caller cannot hear me. There is an irritating noise and after a few seconds the call connection is closed.

2) During a normal phone call (either initiated by me or incoming), the person at the other side does not hear me well. It is like if I was talking far from the device or through a cushion...

Although I installed all the new releases (last is from 8th of July) both issues are still there.

Could anyone help me to solve those issues?

Kind regards

Try a clean flash of the latest firmware (did you flashing or OTA update?) and perform a factory reset in recovery* after that.
If that don't help please try out if it id working after flashing back to your latest Android 6 version.

*wipe data/factory reset in recovery (this will delete your data/settings):
- Power off and then press Power and Volume-up together for around 10 Seconds
- be sure that the little arrow point on recovery (select with volume up, enter with volume down)
- Then the open android with red triangle+"no command" is shown - press Power and Volume up together again
- Select Wipe data/factory reset with volume keys, confirm with power
- After factory reset select reboot system now

Hello,

Thanks for your reply. I used always the OTA method to updated my BV6000. Dou you think I shall reload the lastest version with another method before performing the factory reset in recovery? If yes, could you please explain how to reload the latest firmware?

Kind regards,

Here are the firmware versions and a link to a flashing guide. A clean flashing may help.
