20170708 - menu and home buttons - why?

Fri Jul 21, 2017 5:27 am

This is how it should be :

Menu button - short press - context menu
Menu button - long press - google assistant

Home button - short press - home launcher
Home button - long press - app switching

Why have you changed it?

Thank you in advance.

Another suggestion - is it possible to add an option to Settings so we could configure those 3 buttons?

It's difficult for them to do simple things ... So please, don't ask them nothing more ... ;)

Don't be so pessimistic :)

I wish I knew why they changed the buttons behavior.

Give us option to configure them would be amazing :) but I don't expect a miracle :)

Does this new update '20170708', fix the Capacitive touch button sensitivity on all BV6000 phones?
I want to install it but not if it doesn't fix the touch button issue that myself and everybody complains about.

For me it was ok in 20170507.

But don't rely on it, not all BV6000 are the same.
