Screen sensitivity way too high

Wed Jan 11, 2017 10:21 pm

I dont know if thats due to "glove mode" not doing anything if checked or unchecked, but my screen registeres contacts even if im not touching it. It does it from a distance of about 1mm. Like having "glove mode" forever on.

Any way to adjust the sesitivity of the screen?

Ive tried to start a thread for some time now but admins block all my messages, and ive been having a lot of small troubles with the phone and i need some help. If this message goes through, it will be my first, apparently.

1) disable glove setting
2) tap settings.
Tap Language and Input.
Scroll to the very bottom of these settings and tap pointer speed.
Increase the slider to make the touch screen more sensitive and easier to tab.
Decrease the slider to make your touch screen less sensitive and more difficult to tap.
Tap OK and then experiment with the results.

Your method does not work. "Glove mode" either "ON" or "OFF", the screen stays the same sensitivity, which is too high. It detects taps from 1mm away from screen. Pointer speed slider all the way one way or the other does the same, no difference at all.

I now know i bought the lemon, this over-sensitivity goes well hand-in-hand with defective proximity sensor, so making the call is nearly impossible without your face touching the pause call or settings or other on screen buttons.

You could try a software update.
