Solving the problem with the touch buttons

Wed May 31, 2017 5:30 am

Hello everyone.
In order to solve this problem you need to flash ROM to 0223 via Flashtool.
Then go in glove mode and tap on/off button.
Check the buttons.
Then you can OTA to 0517 bypassing 0414.
This solution works for Touchpanel gt1x, VER:0x82 (*#*#114#*#* to see your version of touchscreen)

Thanks, but seems to mean also that BV team can easily fix it in the next OTA upgrade ... (software problem !)

the the touch display on my phone bv6000 is

FT5406_MT Ver. ox1e

different hardware makes it more complicated ...
may also bad batches

on my new phone (not a bv6000) everything works fine with the hardware inside. including a working compass.

Does this work only for the three buttons on the bottom or the whole screen? I've been trying to post a message here asking something similar for a week now, for some unknown reason my post ins't publicated... I just want to fix my touch screen, it doesn't work in the way it's supposed to. I have to press real hard for some input, and most of the time it doesnt register anything at all. So I want to see if this is a possible solution for fixing the touchscreen

My version of touchpanel is GT9XX_GESTURE, VER:0x47

Im' starting to wish i've bought a different phone... what a dissapointment, i can't even post new messages in this forum, i've been trying for the past week to get some answers and the admin won't approve my posts. It's hard to get clear answers here, I just want to know if the problem on my device is HW or SW related
