I just factory reset my phone with update 20170414 . this update was retained.

There was no difference in the capacitive buttons sensitivity... Very frustrating.

Because I didn't get any OTA update after 201612, I tried to install MTK driver to update manualy. Problem is that after installation driver doesn't recognise the phone. How to install driver in Windows 10 '1703'?

I'm sad.

I will sell this phone with the last A 6.

After using the phone to take pictures on a trip i've found a bug.
If using the camera button to open camera when phone is locked, the button does not take pictures.
Also, i've found that when using camera you can use Vol+ or Vol - to take pictures.

I would rather have the volume buttons act like zoom buttons, and camera button to be the only one for taking pictures. Please fix this in the next update. Or at least let me choose button functions.

Yes, some users said this version fixed some bugs. But we don't know exactly what your problem.
Also please kindly note that, you can only update from "1" to "2" and to "3", can not skip "2" and directly from "1" to "3".
One way you can check your current version: with the wifi open, settings--about phone--wireless update(can see your current version)--check for updates( update to the latest version based on your current version)

I also have problems with 0414 firmware.
In the horizontal position, the back button does not work at all. The home and back buttons work from the second or third time. When you hold the phone in your hands, the keys also respond not the first time. Found a strange feature that when the phone is on charge, the buttons work perfectly.
Firmware back to 6 android with full formatting did not help.
Please DO SOMETHING!!!!!

I dont use my phone that much so cant confirm or deny any of these bugs.
I can confirm that battery life is significantly better.

Went ahead and updated the software, and it's been working a treat so far. One thing I have noted, regarding battery life. Mine seems to be slightly better now I've turned off battery optimisation. May be worth a try for others.

@admin is there a downloadable ROM 20161216 or later for flashing if I must go back from 20170414?
