:-) This boots/reboots the BV6000 in 'normal' mode.

The problem is that the recovery.img is broken after the OTA updates from October (201610xx, 20161025). These OTA updates do not have an updated stock recovery.img whereas the updated system itself uses since then updated signing keys (release keys instead of test keys) and ?more?.

And this is the reason why we see the dead android with 'no command'.

To get a working stock recovery.img again - Blackview has to release a new recovery.img

The problem is when I try to enter recovery mode, pressing power and vol + and this error appears to me and not the recovery menu.
The problem is in the recovery menu that has problems

I purchased BV6000s in Oct 2016. I was very happy with it - other than it doesn't do 4G in USA. I even bought a second one for my son.
Unfortunately a few days ago when I woke up to its alarm, as I have been doing since I purchased it, I turned off the alarm and was greeted by a white screen informing me that the loader failed to launch - or something to that effect. It then rebooted itself but never came out of the "Blackview" logo. After doing a hard reset a few times (pushing power + Up buttons) it finally booted up but it constantly did the same thing - kept rebooting and not booting all the way into the UI. Once it did get to the Android lying down with No Command.
I finally booted long enough to retrieve my data from it and did a factory reset - but it did not help - its boot does not get past the "Blackview" logo screen.
The phone is not still not usable. Please return this on warranty - or send me a new working phone - that won't do this!
It seems like many many people are having same issue - What's going on?

This indicates that the phones recovcery partition does not have a recovery image loaded. You won't be able to get into recovery. If you want to reset it, you'll have to do it from settings or follow this guide: viewtopic.php?t=54240. Beware, I followed the guide and the phone is bricked now though...
