my mic isn't working for any calls, but if I record a video everything is fine. Are there two different or is it some software bug?

The issue for me is that randomly my contacts stop hearing me during calls. I mean no sound at all, not even the background noise.
Please note I can hear them normally during this period, but they can't hear me.
Sometimes I can talk for 40 minutes without this happening, sometimes it goes deaf for 7-8 second every 10 seconds.

Apart from this the phone is great, but it cost me a lot not being able to speak during a couple of jobs interviews(as they didn't hear anything).
