How About Produce & Releasing BV6000 Pro Version With 6000mAh Battery ?

Mon Jan 02, 2017 1:09 pm

I'm Satisfied When Using BV6000 Since I Bought. I Have Two BV6000 And I Really Love Them. The Design, Build And Flexibility Are Almost Perfect For Me.

The Only Things I'm Expecting From This Phone Is New Version Of BV6000 With 6,000 mAh Battery. Probably, The Good Name Of New Version Is BV6000 Pro.

If There Is Possible To Build New Version Of BV6000, I'm Expecting These Features For The Revisions :

(1) Battery : 6,000 mAh.
(2) Back Camera : 16 MP (Interpolation To 21 MP), Still With Flashlight.
(3) Front Camera : 8 MP (Interpolation To 13 MP), With Flashlight.
(4) Display 5 Or 5.5 Inch With Gorilla Glass 4.
(5) Support Magnetic And Wireless Charging (Like Conquest S8).
(6) Operating System : Android 7.0 Nougat.
(7) Red, Green, Blue LED Notification.

All Other Specs Still Remaining The Same With BV6000.

Please Don't Tell Me About Blackview P2.
Because The Design And Build Is Far Far Away From BV6000, Beside It Using Hybrid SIM Slot. I Hate Hybrid SIM Slot.

Please Don't Remove This Post To See Market Demand From Other Members.
Hopefully Many People Agree With My Opinions. Thank You.

Bigger (Battery) is always nice but I guess as long Blackview build buggy Firmware so that the big 4200mAh Battery don't even last for 24 hours it would not help much to have 6000mAh instead.

For me it would be much more important to get a device that also supports Galileo GNNS (European GPS) but it seams that the Chipsets of the following two Outdoor Models (BV7000 and BV8000) will not provide that. :(

Battery
6,000 mAh could accommodate Usual Users and Android Gamers (For Longer Playing Time).
That's why I'm putting it into my post above.

BV7000 And BV8000
Both of these smartphones are using Hybrid SIM Slot which is I don't like it, beside the design (BV6000 is still sexy than BV7000 and BV8000).

Firmware
I agree with you that there are some bugs inside it. But I think it can be fix in future updates (via OTA or local files).

Anyway, thanks for your opinions and sharing.

Picture interpolation is worth nothing. No more information can be got from the image the than the matrix can obtain physically. More important is to get good image from the sensor. The bigger the pixel, the more light it can catch, and the sensitivity is better as well as the quality. As the matrix cannot grow in the phone's camera, increasing megapixel count is the opposite. It's better to have 8Mpix noiseless clear image than noisy and blurry 21Mpix. We must remember the optics cannot be very complicated too, so if lens don't give the image sharp enough to utilize matrix resolution, pursuing for megapixels is pointless. Last, but not least: we won't take photos for Playboy cover. Rather we'll send them as MMS, publish on facebook or show on a phone's screen: neither exceed 2Mpix!

But it's much easier to offer the clients huge number of useless megapixels than something such subjective like the image quality.

Battery capacity of over 4Ah isn't bad. Unfrotunately, 8 cores must consume some energy when busy. It's up to the programmer's approach to write 'green' applications. Maybe if settings allowed to throttle or disable some cores when the used is satisfied using just 2 for a moment the batter would last for longer.

I't like to see USB socket sealed from inside rather that requiring longer than standard plug. Standard plugs are much easier to find that the non-standard ones. Wireless charging wont help much. Still standard USB cables will be easier to find to charge-up the phone.

Useless

NO. The BV6000 size is perfect. Bigger screen mean more battery consumption and more risk to broke. It's an outdoor phone. If you want a tablet, you buy a tablet.

Well said.

Mine last 2 to 4 full days with WiFi/4G/BT always on (firm 20160922).

And finally, unless you put 128Go of storage, Hybrid SIM Slot is a really bad idea.

It was the same for me with that Version but with 20161025 I don't even reach 24 hours. I keep it because I hope to et Nougat soon. (But I fear if you once used a local file update OTA Stop working.)

The BV6000 Screen size is perfect.

I don't like the big black frame around it but the size of 4,7" is OK

The big black frame is part of what make it so sturdy :)

@ sams :
If 8 MP (interpolation to 13 MP) front camera (with flashlight) is useless (like you've said), what do you expect from front camera ?
Any better idea than mine ?

BV6000 is almost perfect phone for me. Almost.

Most annoying thing in phone is camera. I love photography. Camera chip is pretty good quality, but does not have manual option. I cant do really long exposure images. There are no manual focus. I'm really sad about this, because autofocus just sucks, especially in darkness.

And I would also change some more things:

>Make better usb (and audio jack) port that do not need a special cable
>Quick Charge support (not fast charge) (some powerbanks do not charge my BV6000, but holds battery percent in place - if someone has solution PM me)
>Better quality of gyroscopes, magnetometer ( I left unsaid you monted it wrong side ). Even though updates I cant use "sky map" or I have multiple problems with google maps etc.
>very long response to off scren gestures. Really. Sometimes I need to wait ~20 secounds :/
(button is not so fast too... but 2 secs is more better result than 20)
>No PTT button. It makes phone more simmetricaly and I still clicking it instead power on screen.

Things I love BV6000 and would never to change :
- a gap between glass and LCD and digitizer, if glass breaks you still have touch until you damage digitiser. In my previous phone (Z1 compact) it was glued - so even tiny break on glass means you do not have touchscreen.
-Gorilla glass of course ;)
- that BV6000 is tough - weather resistant etc.
- ideal size. Fits every pocket, I can feel his weight
- loud speaker (maybe it is not hi-fi and good quality, but it is loud)
- lanyard mount
