HTML Viewer and impossible update...

Sat Nov 26, 2016 6:49 pm

Hello,
I have an update problem.
I just bought and received (2 days ago) a BV6000.
In my first tests, I inadvertently deleted the application "HTML Viewer". And today, when I wanted to install the update proposed in the tab "About the phone", after its download of course, this update does not happen: I have a message "content unexpected In the "/syste/app/HTLVewer/HTMLViewer.apk" folder, which seems logical since I deleted this application (error on my part).
How can I recover this application somewhere? Can the update be done differently?
Thank you in advance,
Regards,

I had similar problems with other preinstalled apps I uninstalled and was not able to intall again from play store later. Reset to factory settings will help.

Hi,
that's not an update problem that's a typical ID-10T error.
You can't inadvertently remove a system app.
Factory reset won't work as you deleted a system ROM application. You need to flash a full ROM.
Like this one and then update OTA.
