Lost network connection

Mon Apr 10, 2017 8:23 am

I'm using the A5 now for a few weeks. I have the problem that the phone shows there is a network available. However, if I want to make a call, it says no network connection available. If I want to send an SMS, it says that it could not be sent. I also miss incoming calls.
When I reboot the device, it works again for a day or two. Then the same happens again.
It seems that I'm not the only one with this problem (see Amazon reviews for example)

The phone was exactly what I was looking for. But if the most basic function is not reliable the phone is quite useless.

According to the phone, I have the latest software update. Are you aware of this? Is there a fix already planned?

"Hi friend, thanks for getting in touch.
1. Before the problem happens, did you do something with your phone or install some app on your phone?
2. If you can send us the related log, then we can well locate the problem.
enter into the engineer code(by#9646633#)--log and debugging--MTk logger--click the red icon on the bottom of the screen to start--while the problem comes out, click the button""stop""
Then connecting your PC and send us the MTK log file and time of problem happening."

Thank you for the fast response!
Regarding the first question: It happened a few times now but I don't think there was anything in common. There is no visual hint that the connection is gone until I want to use it. So it is difficult to say. Whatever caused it may be long ago.

As soon as the problem comes up again I get the log files for you.
