KNOCK KNOCK... IS THERE ANYONE THERE??????

hello - yes here is somebody but just another A5 user who had to realize that this phone might be o.k. but NOBODY NOWHERE is taking care of ANYTHING concerning this phone
I tried to root it but I think nobody has ever achieved rooting an A5.... I tried to flash a newer ROM but I think nobody has ever achieved flashing something working into this hardware.
no - I don't think it is not possible - I just think nobody could care less about these phones - including the manufacturer who is not even capable of putting working ROM files on the web.

I have bought a blackview phone three time: the first, the only and the last time..!
I dislike companies which don't care about their customers.

I am really quite pleased with the A5 but as you say the support is RUBBISH!
I am using the 20160503 ROM. I have been able to write it using via a PC without any problems.

I have been asking questions on another BV phone I have but as ever the questions
are misread or just plain ignored. I have posted some tips on the A5 elsewhere.

I wanted to root my phone as I want to use it in the car as a gps system and it would be a great device for this as the gps works fine. the camera could be o.k. if the focus would work but it does not so it's o.k. as a dash cam. it would make a perfect navigator/dashcam device but without root it gets very cumbersome to operate. with root it would boot up and shut down automatically and not use battery while just sitting in the car - just like a portable navigation system can do. but rooting this phone is HOPELESS as it seems nobody has achieved in doing so. so I gave up as here nobody will ever react to anything.
I will keep the A5 as an emergency solution and get a more standard phone which can be rooted in a minute.

can you believer that there is a ROM of new firmware but Blackview is not capable of making it available thru the update function of the phone..!?!

I have never been so frustrated by any service/support function of a company. they would better put their bellies up instead of annoying customers.

Hi On the camera focus - I found any slight scratch /dirt on the lens cover stopped it focusing. BV have in
their infinite wisdom installed a plastic lens cover which scratches easily. Replace it with a glass lens cover.

I flash the July Rom, everything okay, but the ringtone etc is silence.
