BV9500 Plus issues with screenshots

Whenever I try to take a screenshot with my phone it
a) doesn't take the screenshot;
b) takes the screenshot but doesn't save it;
c) works as it should.
Usually I have to try many times for the screenshot to be properly taken, and when it does work sometimes when I check the image on the album it's only a partial image, with most of it being black. I have tried both methods with power + volume down and the S-capture option on the function tab.
I have been using this phone for a little over a year now, and I have had this problem since day one.
