Aftersales service is offering to send new fingerprint chip to be replaced in a workshop. Has anybody solved the problem this way?

Same here, fingerprint just stopped working. Can't delete or add new fingerprints either. BL6000pro phone is brand new, bought a week ago. Anyone had ant luck with fixing that?
