yes, it can. But until when i can do that? Besides i have 3 days since i bought it.  Someday it will shutt down and never get restarted again.And then...pufff,no tablet. Money...not well spent.   I will return it and never buy this brand again, ever.  I wanted it to know why it does that to fix it, ...

i just bought a few days ago a TAB 8 and keeps shutting down for no reason.

Even when i`m not on the tablet and it`s on stand by and also when i charge it. I`m using an original charger.

Please advise,
