We've seen similar behaviour with some chargers, and other chargers work fine, e.g. Xtorm XW203 (https://www.xtorm.eu/en/wireless/wirele ... ing-stand/).

Latest OTA update (20200522V12_20200523-0035) broke top of screen response

OTA update: BV9900_EEA_S900AA_V1.0_20200522V12_20200523-0035
Top of screen (upper status bar) no longer responds to finger touch (e.g. slide).
Also when the top drawer slides down, only first row of icons appears.

Side key (SOS) not functioning

We run into an issue wherein the left side key is totally unresponsive, regardless of the actions we set.
Running latest OTA update: BV9900_EEA_S900AA_V1.0_20200522V12_20200523-0035
