Re: BV9600 Pro Compass inaccurate

Yep, mine (a p60 version) had always been like that. I never bothered asking for a fix because there are so many bigger issues that Blackview fail to address. No autostart for apps, no background running apps, no usb connection options, totally insane glass back on a "Rugged" phone, bulgin...

Re: Upgrade to Android 9.0 for P60 version

Hi Tigercat, thanks for your reply. I actually gave up and have been using my wife's old LG G6, which just works!! But I'd still really like to get this thing fully functioning for the first time in it's life. You wrote:  best solution for me is android 8.1 and apks autostart enabled in system freem...

Re: Upgrade to Android 9.0 for P60 version

Marek85, yeah as Serge says, he is the master after all! I used his links in the first place and continued to browse that Russian PDA forum. They are pretty hardcore modders over there. If you browse using google to translate the pages it is mostly legible. (Or maybe you speak fleunt Russian). There...

Re: Upgrade to Android 9.0 for P60 version

Serge, I have just found the no-root way to autostart apps. So I have done this and don't need to unlock bootloader. Please, can you send my 'thanks' to Klud as I am not able. Of course, my thanks to you also for all your help. I think I now have all I need, but it is late and I will have to check t...

Re: Upgrade to Android 9.0 for P60 version

No, I can't get gpay to work after unlocking. On boot I have 'orange state' message saying phone cannot be trusted. When trying to use gpay I get a message telling me my phone cannot be used to pay in shops this may be because it is rooted or altered in some other way. I also have massively increase...

Re: Upgrade to Android 9.0 for P60 version

Why do you think so?? Have you checked ?? I have now. I tried setting up a card in GooglePay and I received a message saying: Couldn't finish setup to pay in shops... This phone can't be used to pay in shops. This may be because it is rooted or altered in some other way. So I can re-flash 'boot' se...

Re: Upgrade to Android 9.0 for P60 version

Serge, good to hear from you, and thank you for the links. I have just spent all day trying to get turn this thing into a smartphone. But I don't think its possible. I installed your Android9 for P60 again, and that is great. But I need autostart apps for security cameras that I monitor. So I follow...

Re: Has anyone managed to get the back off one of these?

YES, but not in one piece! Last night I decided to give it a go as my phone speaker no longer worked at all and I had received my replacement rear glass and 'complete' rear panel. I used my 3D printer hotbed at pre-heated to 100°C for 5 minutes and my suction cup to pull just like in the video... On...

Re: GBV9600 Pro wifi & bluetooth not working after installing stock firmware

Zaxik. Did I understand you correctly? Have you solved the problem of apps not automatically starting and running correctly in background? This would change my world!! Seriously if you have really managed to turn this lump of plastic into a proper smartphone then, well Blackview should offer you a j...

Re: Has anyone managed to get the back off one of these?

Hi, did you get it off? I've got a cracked rear glass and totally failed rear speaker, so I've ordered a new rear assembly and am waiting on arrival. But of course that is no use if they won't separate. Any news?
